5. Nolito

When it comes to needing attackers, Arsene Wenger is usually pretty clear. No way, no how. Danny Welbeck, Theo Walcott, Tomas Rosicky and Jack Wilshere will all be back in January. Arsenal might as well be gaining Neymar, Thomas Muller, Franck Ribery and Arjen Robben. Why would we need more?

And yet, being grossly exposed is never a fun thing. With Alexis Sanchez’s injury, Arsenal is on the verge. As such, rumors tying Celta Vigo’s surprising star to Arsenal have been prevalent and frequent. At 29-years of age, he would be much of a temporary solution, but to Wenger, that is all that Arsenal could possibly need in the attack, right?

More from Arsenal Transfer Rumours

All that being said, while Nolito would be a nice addition, there are two better Spanish options still to come on this list. Of course, Arsene Wenger is not phoning me for my opinion. Shame.

The Metro is very convinced that Nolito will sign. Yet, the Metro has a knack for spreading various rumors that never really go anywhere. Remember that time that Karim Benzema signed for Arsenal? We all do. Nolito still must be monitored, however. He is a versatile left-sided player with a knack for goals.

We’re getting into the final countdown with number four, who is another of those defensive midfield types.
