2. Jorginho

This rumor has only emerged as of early November but it has become a fast favorite. The Brazilian defensive midfielder is currently having the time of his life at Napoli. But as his agent pointed out as quoted by Goal.com, a move to Arsenal is not out of the question. However, counteracting that is the talk that Jorginho is also open to a new contract with Napoli.

More from Pain in the Arsenal

Sounds like Jorginho is one of those ‘wherever the wind takes me’ kinds of people. He did sign a new contract recently but when has that stopped anyone?

Napoli is having a great season and it is always tough to coax a player away from that. But Arsenal would benefit immensely from using a little money-power to try to do just that. The 23 year old averages over two tackles and two interceptions per game (via WhoScored). But aside from that, it is his passing that would give him that extra degree of excellence at Arsenal. He is maintaining a 90% pass completion percentage.

Passing can never be underplayed at Arsenal. Between Santi Cazorla and Mesut Ozil, Arsenal have two of the best passers around. Coquelin had been a liability but he has been improving in that department as well.

The fact that Jorginho is open to whatever makes him a prime target to poach. Hopefully Arsene Wenger sees it the same way.

Finally, onto the final transfer rumor to watch. It will be hitting its one-year anniversary come next month.
