11. Breel Embolo

Any time you are pursuing someone who is also being pursued by Manchester United, Barcelona and Juventus, you better break out the big money. That is the worrisome part. But Arsenal have pulled out headline transfers before. Mesut Ozil and Alexis Sanchez chose Arsenal with other options on the table.

The other hang-up with Embolo is the fact that he is so young and relatively unproven. While Manchester United have shown a knack for overspending on such products, Arsenal never will. That does not mean that this transfer is kaput, however.

The price is around £16 million for the young Swiss. That is by no means out of the ordinary. It is how much Arsenal reportedly paid for Calum Chambers. If Wenger is willing to spend that much for a long term center back replacement, why not for a long term striker?

Embolo averages a goal about every three games and has the versatility to play all across the front line. That kind of talent is always useful. Plus, with just Alex Iwobi and Chuba Akpom making headway in the Arsenal system, another name could not hurt.

Enough about strikers for now. At number ten, we move back to the position Arsenal really needs.
