8. Karim Bellarabi

If Alexis Sanchez’s injury taught us anything, it is that Arsenal is actually pretty thin on the wings. Behind Alexis, there stands just the injury-plagued Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain and the never-in-favor Joel Campbell. That is pretty thin. Alexis is never allowed to take a rest because there is no other option behind him. And Wenger has said this.

More from Arsenal Transfer Rumours

Karim Bellarabi would be a solution to this problem. For just £15 million, the Bayer Leverkusen midfielder would be a smart buy. He can play just about any forward-lying position including striker. By that token, his versatility serves as another added perk.

Bellarabi is still under contract until 2020, but that is the only road block. It is a rather small road block. Bellarabi is also suiting up for the German national team, so it’s not like Arsenal don’t have access to his ear.

Attackers may be the last thing on Wenger’s mind, but Bellarabi is just 25 years old and would provide a crucial option for years to come.

Next up at number seven we get back to another potential luxury signing.
