Arsenal vs Stoke City Score Predictions
By Josh Sippie
Arsenal’s trips to Britannia Stadium are always nervy affairs, however, Arsenal must dispose of them. Here are the score predictions.
With Arsenal wanting to remain at the top of the table, they are going to have to take care of a stingy Stoke City side at their home ground of Britannia Stadium. As it stands, Arsenal is in third place from the Leicester draw and the Manchester City win. Three points puts them right back where they should be, two points ahead of the Foxes.

However, it is never easy to come into the Britannia and win. Arsenal is 1-2-4 in seven matches at the grounds since Stoke City was promoted. Not the strongest showing, but one that Arsenal needs to go against the tide of.
With that in mind, here are the staff predictions from Pain in the Arsenal.
Thomas: Arsenal 2-1 Stoke City
It will be a battle at the Britannia this Sunday. Arsenal will look to better their disappointing away record against an improving Stoke side and will do so with a 2-1 win. Though the Gunners will fall behind early, Wenger’s men will bounce back. Especially look for Walcott to build on his recent, rather disappointing form.
Nasra: Arsenal 1-1 Stoke City
Arsenal dropped two valuable points at Liverpool in midweek, and they’ll probably drop points again this weekend at Stoke City. Arsenal don’t have a very good record against Stoke, let alone at the Britannia Stadium. Stoke’s rough style of play simply doesn’t suit Arsenal, so I think they will struggle to control the game as they are so used to doing.
Andy: Arsenal 2-1 Stoke City
This is a really tough game for Arsenal. Stoke is the hardest place to go to in the Premier League outside of the big clubs and this will not be an easy win.
Josh: Arsenal 3-2 Stoke City
Liverpool was an exhausting affair for the Gunners, but keep in mind that everyone had that short layoff. That means that Stoke City will also be a bit on the tired side. With both sides showing a tendency to score goals and not exactly stop goals, look for the trend to continue.

While this figures to be much more of an organized affair than the Liverpool game, it will still be open. An end to end match is in store. Look for Arsenal to reap the rewards of a freshly inspired Olivier Giroud. Coming off a brace, he is going to be looking to build his consistency a bit.
