Arsenal is a top tier team in the world of football, yet time and again they prove that everyone on the team matters. Just look at Hector Bellerin.

You cannot say enough about what Hector Bellerin has done at Arsenal. You also cannot say enough about what Hector Bellerin is now doing for Arsenal. The 20 year old Spanish fullback left the allure of Barcelona behind to join Arsenal at the age of 18. After spending one year on loan, he rose to the occasion and became the undisputed starter at right back.

Just like that, a 19 year old breaks into the top tier of the world of football. While it did require an injury to Mathieu Debuchy to give him a window, it was up to Hector Bellerin to stick in the position. Against all odds, he did that, pushing French national right back Debuchy to the bench, where he has frustratingly been ever since.

Now, Arsenal have one of the best fullbacks in the league. He is also a fullback that is fully committed to the team. Bellerin has stated on numerous occasions that he will not follow in Cesc Fabregas footsteps. He is happy at Arsenal. Why? Because Arsene Wenger made him feel wanted and included from the moment he first met with him.

That has been Arsenal’s calling card for quite some time. But hearing it and seeing it are two different things. With all of the prospects that Arsenal have raring to go in their system, there is no one better they could have on this team than Hector Bellerin. Bellerin was exactly where they are now and, unlike at Real Madrid or Barcelona, he broke through. Now at the first team, he is unmovable.

Youth players are taking note of what Bellerin did. They are seeing that it can be done and they are gunning for the same thing to happen to them.

Untied States teenager Gedion Zelalem has verbally pointed to Bellerin as the guy he wants to be like.

“Obviously [I want to] break through to the first team, [the] same as Hector Bellerin [has done]. He’s done fantastic and is the number one right-back – so that’s my target,” he said, as quoted by InsideFutbol.

It is such an added benefit to have an irreplaceable part of your team exemplifying the very things you stand for as a club. But Bellerin is not the only one to hold these facets true. Aaron Ramsey has been through similar. Ramsey made even a quicker impact at Arsenal as he was brought in to make an immediate difference. Ramsey also exemplifies the faith and patience that Wenger has in his players with the whole leg break situation.
