Arsenal face a rather huge 90 minutes against Leicester City, where the result could mean a six point swing at the top of the table. Here are some predictions.

You could not conceive a bigger game. Arsenal, after weeks sitting atop the table, now sit five points behind England’s sweetheart, Leicester City.

Using basic mathematics, that means that a win puts Arsenal two points back and a loss pushes Arsenal a whole eight points back. How’s that for a monster climb? Arsenal will have to capitalize on their new momentum after so many scoreless matches. Hopefully Alexis Sanchez will be able to replicate what he did at King Power.

And so, here are some predictions from Pain in the Arsenal’s staff.

Jabari: Arsenal 3-2 Leicester City

An exciting top of the table shoot out that will be an instant classic. I have Gabriel and Coquelin putting in strong second half performances to close the game out.

Finn: Arsenal 2-1 Leicester

The Gunners are up against the undoubted team to beat in this year’s title race. They are the only team to put up more than three goals on the foxes this season, but Alexis Sanchez was flying during that game and he has been rusty of late. However, Mesut Ozil has been on good form recently and he looks able to break down Leicester’s center back partnership if given the space. IF.

Thomas: Arsenal 2-2 Leicester

Arsenal will start Sunday’s crucial match against Leicester strongly. Ozil will once again provide a vital threat in attack for the Gunners, and Coquelin will protect the back line as best as he can. Cech’s vital influence will be felt once more throughout the whole match.

Meanwhile, Arsenal won’t be able to capitalize on its early dominance and will fall behind by a goal before halftime. The Gunners will respond with a goal of their own in the second half. Leicester will score another to break the tie though, but Wenger’s men will once again produce another equalizer, and the match will finish 2-2. Look for Alexis and Campbell to inflict the most damage to Leicester.

Andy: Arsenal 1-0 Leicester City

This is the biggest game of the season so far for Arsenal. Leicester City, to everyone’s surprise are top of the table and could well be favorites to lift the trophy if they win on Sunday.

Arsenal are perhaps the Foxes’ biggest rivals for the title and Sunday is, as Arsene Wenger has stated, a must win for the Gunners. Thankfully, I truly believe that this is the year that Wenger brings the title to the Emirates for the first time and that starts with a win on Sunday.

Nasra: Arsenal 2-2 Leicester City

Arsenal face their toughest task so far this season when they take on Leicester City on Sunday at the Emirates. This game will have huge implications on the title race, and it is a must win for Arsenal. Having said that, I still don’t think Arsenal will take all three points on Sunday. Leicester are playing out of their minds right now, and will be keen to kill another Premier League giant after taking out Manchester City last weekend. It will be a close game, but I don’t think either side will win it.

Josh: Arsenal 4-2 Leicester City

Call me the eternal optimist, but I have so much faith in Arsenal. So much faith that it is borderline worrisome. I cannot see Alexis Sanchez not scoring a brace, especially after how ineffective he was against Bournemouth. Likewise, I cannot see Giroud not scoring, because he’s due.

Plus, someone always manages to score that I never saw coming, so let’s bank on Bellerin to squirt one in at some point.
