Arsenal’s Predicted Starters To Face Hull City
By Nasra Osman
On Tuesday, Arsenal will face Hull City in an FA Cup replay match, after drawing the reverse fixture in February. Will Arsenal advance to the next round?
It is game that probably shouldn’t even be happening, but nonetheless, I am still sitting here writing about it. Arsenal are set to take on Hull City for the second time this season in the FA Cup after failing to defeat the Tigers in the reverse fixture at the Emirates in February.
The Gunners performance in that game was not up to par by any standards, and they now must play their third game in just eight days. For Arsenal, the games are coming thick and fast, and thus, Arsene Wenger will almost certainly look to rotate his squad.
One would have to think that the draw at Tottenham took a lot out of an already tired looking squad. With Coquelin’s unnecessary red card at White Hart Lane on Sunday, Arsenal were forced to play with ten men for the majority of the second half.
Evidently, the players will have exhausted themselves due to having to cover for their banished teammates. As a result, Wenger will look to give some of his senior players a rest. Whatever team Wenger decides to field, Arsenal will be looking to record their third win over Hull City in as many years in the FA Cup, to keep the possibility of a three-peat going in this competition.
Here is how Arsenal is expected to line up at the KC Stadium tomorrow.
