It is often frustrating sifting through massive amounts of relentless rumors that have very little grounding. However, sometimes a report brings sheer comedy to the situation, and Arsenal are, yet again, at the heart of another fantastical story.
Star right back Hector Bellerin is being linked with a sensational move to Manchester City, joining up with Pep Guardiola, the man who managed him as a youngster at Barcelona. While rumors linking the 21 year old to a return to the Nou Camp are significantly more believable, these are truly laughable and indicate the desperate nature of many modern day journalists to make some noise in a crowded house.
Bellerin is a sensational player already, at such a young age, will only progress further. His searing pace is integral to his game, allowing him to roam up and down the right flank, probing opposition defenses while also not neglecting his defensive duties. Moreover, in an Arsenal system that relies heavily on its full backs to provide the attacking width, Bellerin is the perfect player.
Wenger would be mad to let his Spanish international leave, and there is no way that of all the possible destinations, Manchester would be where he ends up. Abroad? Possibly. Certainly there is still an affiliation to his boyhood club. However, with a young and improving Arsenal squad, one that is building towards success, leaving now would be mindless.

Transfer rumors are an uncontrollable beast. Some have great credence, however, sensational, while others seem nothing more than made up whispers, the exaggeration of an untimely conversation down the pub. The latter is what these Bellerin reports feel like, and they are utterly ridiculous.
