Arsenal Cannot Lose To PSG Again This Summer
Arsenal have already lost to Paris Saint-Germain, failing to sign Grzegorz Krychowiak. They must not lose again in their quest to add Julian Draxler.
Part and parcel of pursuing some of the best players on the market is beating out competition. Arsenal, no matter how it may seem, are not the only club trying to imrpove their squad and add new players to achieve their goals of the coming season.

In the pursuit of a physical, powerful defensive midfielder, I and plenty of other fans, were hoping that the Gunners would turn to Sevilla’s Grzegorz Krychowiak to solve such issues. The Polish international has been impressive for both club and country over the past couple of seasons and had attracted the attention of many of the top clubs around Europe.

I had hoped that Arsene Wenger would win the battle for Krychowiak but he was beaten to the punch by French giants Paris Saint-Germain. Whether Wenger was ever interested in the player is unknown, however, he is not with the club now and will be plying his trade in France. Now, another player of great ability is available, and Arsenal and Paris Saint-Germain are set to battle for their services once again.
Reports state that PSG are ready to hijack Arsenal’s prospective move for Wolfsburg winger, Julian Draxler, with the intention of taking advantage of his unrest due to the interest from the Gunners earlier in the summer.
Draxler would be a sensational addition to either side. He would slide in on the right-hand side, a position that has not yet been solidified by any player in the squad so far and would provide with the club with another world class attacker alongside the likes of Alexis Sanchez and Mesut Ozil.
Nonetheless, such a mouthwatering prospect is in jeopardy with PSG’s move, and it would be a great shame if a deal to bring Draxler to the Emirates cannot be completeddue to a competitor. If Wolfsburg refuse to sell and set a price far too high to match, then it is more understandable. But if Draxler does leave for PSG, something that I would expect to happen after these recent rumours, then Arsenal will be ruing their missed opportunities.

Arsene Wenger is useless at pushing signings over the line, and while there is a chance that they were never watching Draxler in the first place, to lose out to PSG once again would be yet another transfer failing this summer.
