1. Theo Walcott

Oh Theo. Just a few months ago I was leading the brigade to see you sold to Liverpool for a pack of gum (it could have been an empty pack, I didn’t care). Now, there is no one I have more confidence in than you. What is this madness?

Despite what Roy Keane wants us to believe, Walcott has been doing this for more than a week. He’s been doing it all season and, before that, he did it for three years and some change before getting hurt.

The talent has always been there, but now that the mindset is there as well, there is no stopping Walcott and the beautiful partnership he has forged with Alexis. They are locked in a duel for who can score the most goals, and, given the momentum Walcott finds himself with, he could spring in front of the deadlock in the coming weeks.
