3. Alexis Sanchez

In what world is the architect of Arsenal’s attack sitting at third on the power rankings? This is an outrage.

Alexis did not have the most success when he was initially moved to the No. 9 spot. His ranking, had we been doing them at the time, would have taken a tumble down to Ozil territory. However, now that it is all clicking into place, Alexis is shooting up the rankings. His creative ability from that No. 9 spot reminds me of Olivier Giroud and his hold up play.

Finally, Alexis is firing on all cylinders, making himself the center of attention yet again. He assists Walcott twice last time out and it goes without saying that he will return to the score sheet against Burnley.

Look for Alexis to run circles around this Burnley defense, although exhaustion may be a factor, as the big dogs were out midweek to face Basel. Even considering that, Alexis has had far larger workloads and always managed to emerge looking just fine.
