DAVID OSPINA. 8.0. Excellent once more in Europe. I’m still not overjoyed by the continual rotation between he and Petr Cech, but Ospina’s performances have been excellent and were once more on Wednesday. Made a few terrific saves, especially in the first half.. GK. Arsenal FC

6.8. Afforded the start in Monreal’s absence. Looked a tad rusty defensively with his positioning letting him down, but still boasts tremendous speed as provides width when pressing forward. Will be in competition with Monreal throughout the year.. LB. Arsenal FC. KIERAN GIBBS

SANTI CAZORLA. 7.4. Quieter day for the magic Spaniard. However, one wonderful ball for Ozil’s first goal displayed the best of his vision, creativity and technical ability. Subbed off early to be given some much-needed rest. Smart move by Wenger.. SUB. Arsenal FC

8.5. This was Coquelin’s best game so far this season. Was outstanding without the ball, won the ball back on numerous occasions and then distributed the ball simply, sensibly but effectively. Very nearly man of the match if not for the goals.. SUB. Arsenal FC. FRANCIS COQUELIN

8.1. Terrffic goal in the closing stages of the first half. Looked vibrant throughout, though did miss a few opportunities – one in particular after excellent work from Coquelin. ALEX OXLADE-CHAMBERLAIN. 8.3. Scored to end the game right at the start of the second half and played an underrated role in Sanchez’s goal, turning and releasing the ball qucikly. Will certainly be a factor throughout the season.. MID. Arsenal FC

MAN OF THE MATCH His overall play was not at its majestic best, but three goals, the first of which was set up by an incredible first touch and the last of which was a ruthless left-footed volley. If Ozil continues to score, he will become one of the very best players in Europe.. MID. Arsenal FC. MESUT OZIL

Arsenal FC. ALEXIS SANCHEZ. 8.8. Only scored one but was instrumental throughout. His movement is the best I have seen out of a Guners striker since Thierry Henry, his finishing is exquisite and he is learning when to drop off and when to stretch the field. Excellent performance.. ST

Came on for Santi Cazorla early in the second half. Quiet but solid. His role will likely never be anyhting more than cover, but he is certainly a reliable option to have.. ST. Arsenal FC. MOHAMED ELNENY. 7.3

Arsenal FC. LUCAS PEREZ. 7.9. Looked very lively when he came on, particularly when Sanchez was taken off and he moved into a central role. Set up both of Ozil’s last two goals, displaying great pace, patience and vision. An exciting glimpse but needs more playing time. Difficult to give him that, though, thanks to Sanchez’s form.. SUB
