Arsenal Predicted Starting XI To Face Reading
By Josh Sippie
Jeff Reine-Adelaide and Lucas Perez
I don’t think Arsenal has seen much of young Jeff Reine-Adelaide in a central role before, but this could be his big shot to anoint himself as Mesut Ozil’s heir. He seems like he has what it takes, it just feels as though he has been moved wide right to accommodate the openness of that position. I still see him as a central midfielder.
He is one of that trifecta of youngsters that we should all be massively excited about (along with Donyell Malen and Krystian Bielik) so any opportunity to watch him in action is like a glimpse into the future.
As far as Lucas Perez is concerned, I could easily Wenger perhaps shifting Lucas wide left to spot Iwobi a break while letting Olivier Giroud start up front. I am much more in favor of this option, but I am not in Wenger’s shoes, and therefore cannot make this decision.
Wenger has said that Iwobi will play, so the likelihood is that he starts with all his future mates and Giroud is leftto pick up the leftovers in the last half hour or so.
