Alex Iwobi and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain

I actually don’t see a change here. I could potentially see Alexis Sanchez shifted out here to make room for Olivier Giroud up front or I could even fathom seeing Ramsey return out wide and Elneny starting next to Xhaka. But I could see this, regular pairing most of all.

Iwobi is hanging on for dear life in the starting XI and, as he has an ongoing competitions with Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain for that second role, this game will be a major battle in the war to start across from Walcott.

The Ox has come on hard and fast and played a big role in the Sunderland match. His confidence will keep growing – and growing massively – against a lesser opponent like Ludogorets. All he needs to do is keep his head on straight and remember how talented he is.

Iwobi will be inspired too. He saw what the Ox did and he lived the minimal role he himself played against Sunderland, meaning that he needs to strike his own blow in the battle to reassert himself.

Finally, moving on to No. 10 and striker, I have to get creative.
