So here we are, on the brink of another North London Derby. Arsenal has always had a strong handle on their dearly beloved neighbors, but that will never stop the jitters. Spuds fans are the basest form of human life and even a draw, to them, is something to celebrate.

Which is like, priority No. 24 in the list of priorities pertaining to why Arsenal has to come away with a win.

They still sit one goal behind Manchester City at the top of the table, but they are three points clear of the Spuds and making it six points would be a cushion of glorious softness. Bury them now so it’s less to worry about later.

Tottenham will be welcoming back Harry Kane, which is great news for them. Their offense has been sputtering. Without their stout defense, they would be further down the table for sure. Even Watford has scored as many goals as them.

Still, this defense is tough to bust up and Arsenal will need all hands on deck to break it down and cause problems. That all starts with this starting XI that I will predict. Arsene Wenger has to put as many weapons as he can on the pitch in order to pick apart this defense and with that in mind, let’s get diving into this starting XI.

We will start at the least attacking-oriented position on the pitch.

Keeper: Petr Cech

Petr Cechwill be following up a shaky performance by David Ospina at midweek. While the Colombian can hardly be held responsible for the goals that did get into his net, he looked pretty shaky in other facets like taking charge.

It will be a nice breath of fresh air to have Cech back out there, commanding the field.
