Arsenal need to win a game pretty badly and if it doesn’t come against Bournemouth, then when? Here’s who should start.

Draws against top tier teams shouldn’t be cause for such heavy lamentations, but these aren’t just ordinary draws. These are draws where Arsenal‘s offense has looked anemic. Against Tottenham, the Gunner’s were only able to score on an own goal. Granted, it was a nice cross, but still. They did not create their own goals.

Against Manchester United, Arsenal failed to create a chance on target all match until the 89th minute when Giroud headed home. This was a beaten and battered United side and the Gunner’s could not create more than a single chance on target.

Against PSG it was more of the same. A penalty and an own goal meant that Arsenal yet again had their offense completely stifled, and this time at home as well. The Gunners created, yet again, just one chance on target.

There were some promising moments, but in terms of sustained pressure, there was very little to speak of.

Bournemouth is up next, and that means that the Gunner’s absolutely positively must find a way to take home all three points because, if not, even if we scrounge a draw, we will have to start playing around with the panic button and hitting the January transfer window hard.

The lineup that Arsene Wenger put out against PSG had some promising improvements, but there were still some ridiculously notable absences. Mainly Granit Xhaka, who continues to be sat on the bench for no logical reason.

Also, without Hector Bellerin, that creativity from deep will have to come from somewhere else. So, with all of that in mind, let’s get started into the ideal starting XI to face off against a Bournemouth side that should not be that much trouble.
