Arsenal vs Bournemouth: Ideal Starting XI Including Aaron Ramsey

Even these two have had some shaky moments in recent matches. I’ve been surprised to see the increased number of times where one or the other fails to shut down a charging attacker or fails to anticipate the flow of play.

That being said, I would prefer no one else. There is no other defensive pairing that I have more faith in than these two. I even saw some promising moments against PSG where, with the offense stifled, they would bombard forward with the ball, hoping to stir up a little chaos and create something for themselves.

It feels nice to have two centerbacks capable of accomplishing that added dose of awesomeness.

Also, they are going to score on a set piece sooner or later. But the first step to doing that is actually lofting corners into the box rather than playing it short and sputtering out.

Moving on, let’s get controversial with the ideal midfield pairing.
