Arsenal have to turn their week of misfortunes around but West Ham won’t make it easy. Here’s their ideal XI.

Arsenal‘s offense is still not clicking beyond the occasional connection between Mesut Ozil and Alexis Sanchez. Bournemouth was a welcomed recovery, but that is the kind of result we should be expecting against a mid-to-lower table team.

West Ham may be struggling but that doesn’t mean that they are that different from the team they were last year. Key personnel is still in place and the Gunner’s have to be very wary of taking the Hammers for granted.

Yes it is a game they should win, but we have been grossly upset by Slaven Bilic’s side before. Plus, this side drew against West Ham at Old Trafford, just like we did, so clearly they have more cahones than their spot on the table it suggesting.

Arsenal’s starting XI situation is getting dicey. With Santi Cazorla out for three months, we have to start looking at a long-term fix rather than plugging the gap. I think you all know who I am suggesting but I will get to that later.

Meanwhile, Hector Bellerin is still waiting on his return and until he is back, that right back position is always going to be a bit of a bother.

That is the full injury report though, so it’s not there is any reason why we can’t put this game away comfortably. Now let’s get into the ideal starting XI, starting at keeper.

Petr Cech

I don’t know what the hell these Jan Oblak rumors are about, but the helmeted wonder Petr Cech is still here and that is something we can always rely on to give that extra dose of confidence from the back. Long may he reign between the posts.

Let’s get controversial with the fullbacks.
