Alexis Sanchez and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain

Yup, we’re here again. Right where I was last year, where I don’t trust Theo Walcott and am convinced he is only benefiting from a strong offensive system. I don’t think he can create for himself and I don’t think he is an innovative attacker.

I’m not saying the Ox is, but I have seen the Ox create goals for himself. We have seen the Ox’s work rate and his strength and athleticism and, although he is just as inconsistent as Theo Walcott, I feel like he has more to offer than his English brethren.

As far as Alexis Sanchez, I don’t see much wavering in believing that he needs to start out wide. I do appreciate what he has done at striker, but starting him at striker robs us of one of our best attacking weapons in Olivier Giroud. If we can have two of our best weapons on the pitch at the same time for longer, why wouldn’t we?

Although, with West Ham likely trying to go toe-to-toe with our Gunners, it would be a good time to give Alexis a run out at striker. I wouldn’t, though.
