2. No more injuries

For real. It hasn’t been that terrible this year. The major players have all been there, readier than ever. Mesut Ozil, Alexis Sanchez and Laurent Koscielny have all stayed healthy. Francis Coquelin has been a rock. Petr Cech has had no issues.

But we have tasted what it’s like to lose fringe players that can seriously change the course of momentum. Guys like Hector Bellerin, Shkoran Mustafi, Aaron Ramsey and obviously Santi Cazorla have all missed considerable time and while the team has adjusted very well and showed that they won’t be deterred by any one absence, having a fully fit squad back for the final push is going to be a big deal.

Even having guys like Danny Welbeck back is a big deal. Anything that provides options because those options provide more competition and everyone gets better. So while health is one thing, that competition that it breeds is like another gift in and of itself.

Players are getting healthy and the team is getting back to full strength. That couldn’t come at a better time, as the going is about to get tough.

At No. 1, how about throwing us a bone, Santa?
