1. A Chelsea loss

Nine whole points back from Chelsea. It’s a damn shame. Mainly because it’s Chelsea and no one actually likes them. That being said, they can’t stop winning. When Arsenal loses, they win. When Arsenal wins, they win. It’s hard to catch a team that doesn’t lose.

But with a very manageable next six matches that should breed 18 points, the least Santa can do for Wenger is deliver a Chelsea loss. Just introduce a little doubt into their minds and they will start to crumble. At least that’s how it’s supposed to work.

No matter how good Arsenal does, they need the Blues to stumble a bit and we have to keep believing that is going to happen.

Not only that, but after the six matches of manageable fixtures, Arsenal will travel to Stamford Bridge to take on the squad that I assume will still be at the top of the table. It’s an away match, so hopefully Wenger can prepare his team, but that is going to be a massive match.
