8. Consistency from the Ox

So with Iwobi and the Ox always jousting for that second starting position, someone has to get the upper hand. The shoddy part of this scenario is when neither is doing well and then you just have to go with whoever is sucking less. And that’s rarely a winning formula.

This year hasn’t been like that, though, as the two have actually been clicking at opposite times. It’s been all too convenient.

However, we have to look at what the Ox has done and smile. This is the best season he has ever had and we aren’t even half way through. That is insane and it is something to be thankful for. So where does Wenger’s wish come into it?

Make the Ox consistent! This is the year, he just needs health, which all of a sudden was robbed of him. He has to come back right where he left off and show that individual inspiration. This is a crucial time and this Christmas period will see what the Ox has to offer on his return from yet another injury.
