4. An Alexis Sanchez contract

For as much optimism as there was around Mesut Ozil signing a new deal, Alexis Sanchez was not emanating the same kind of belief. He was silent. He openly shows his frustrations on the pitch, throwing up his arms and yelling at his team mates where they should have gone.

But that’s all normal for someone that has an appetite for trophies. It shouldn’t hurt the club and, if anything, it should work for the good in the long haul. Alexis has become bigger and bigger in this offense this year since becoming the unexpected solution at the No. 9 spot and he leads the Gunners in just about every statistical category.

That being said, Alexis did come out the other day and had some very important things to say. Like, very important. He said that he loves it here. He loves the fans and he loves the spotlight. Very similar things to what Ozil has been saying.

He also said that it is up to the club. He wants the club to show confidence in him. Well, just like I said about Ozil, what better time to give us the greatest gift we can be given right now than knowing that our dynamic duo is staying put?

Moving on to No. 3, we have to look beyond the duo and find that other missing ingredient.
