1. Alexis Sanchez is still learning

It’s kind of scary really. Alexis Sanchez came to Arsenal at the start of the 2014/15 season and he looked damn close to perfect. He was unstoppable and Premier League defenses could not cope with him.

As it usually goes though, they caught on. He went into a slump in the second halfand even had some trouble the following season. But here he is tearing it up again, looking unstoppable yet again – and at a brand new position.

What does this all mean?

Alexis is still learning. It reminds me of Jurassic Park when they discover that the raptors have learned how to mate. It was such a discovery that can change the status of everything in the vicinity. Alexis Sanchez, the world class forward (suck it, Alan Shearer), is still learning to be a better player.

And that is all happening because Wenger is teaching him and the Chilean is a star pupil. He is always ready to try new things to conquer the moment and yet again, it is working. Celebrate.
