5. There is no such thing as “One Last Chance”
Last season was supposed to be Arsenal’s one last chance to win the league. That is an asinine concept, beyond stupid and completely unreasonable. So the Gunner’s came up short and Leicester pulled off the improbable win. So Pep and Jurgen and Conte were all coming to the Premier League the following year. So what?

As we have seen that this year, between the summer transfer window and this season, Arsenal is always going to be in a position to compete for a title. Wenger has been in a position to compete for titles for 20 years, through droughts and debts and everything. Do you really think a few high-profile hot shot managers are going to disrupt that?
Because they haven’t. Chelsea have a nine point cushion on the Gunners and they look mighty strong. And in the off chance that they don’t falter, we will be upset and it will suck. But guess what will happen next year? Arsenal will be right there challenging with Pep and Jurgen and Conte and whoever else thinks the Prem will be a continuation of success.
Wenger is a damn fine manager who knows how to adjust to the times. Sometimes it just takes him a bit longer than desired. But so long as the Arsenal logo is on the heart of these kits, there is going to be that chance of a title.
