On Tuesday, Arsenal travelled to the South coast to face Bournemouth. Here are the complete player ratings from the 3-3 draw.

Well that was eventful! Arsenal managed to pull the rabbit out of the hat thanks to a late Olivier Giroud header after being three goals down. The first half was truly abject, lacking any sort of desire or direction, completely overrun by a rampant Bournemouth side. However, with Alexis Sanchez leading the charge, the Gunners clawed their way back into the game and rescued an unlikely point.

Here are the player ratings from the dramatic 3-3 draw.

7.0. Made a few good saves early on, with a lovely hand at the feet of the onrushing Calum Wilson. Couldn’t do much for the first two goals but was embarrassed for the third with a nutmeg, though he can hardly shoulder the majority of the blame.. GK. Arsenal FC. PETR CECH

4.5. Terrible game from the usually stupendous Spaniard. Wasn’t out of position for the first goal like Niall Quinn suggested, but did allow Charlie Daniels inside far too easily. Then suffered the misfortune of a poor call from the referee but has to be stronger in dealing with the difficult ball in behind for Ryan Fraser’s goal.. RB. Arsenal FC. HECTOR BELLERIN

Went off early in the second half with what can only hope to be a knock. Was not his commanding self in the first half, failing to lead a rattled side, but has been terrific all season and would be a major loss.. CB. Arsenal FC. LAURENT KOSCIELNY. 6.0

6.5. Slightly better than his partner, made one beautiful slide tackle on Calum Wilson, but lacked accurate distribution and was pulled out of position a little too easily at times, exposing a soft defensive underbelly. There’s still a little rust to be shaken off yet.. CB. Arsenal FC. SHKODRAN MUSTAFI

5.5. Cannot be faulted for any of the three goals but was exposed at times by Junior Stanislas. Improved in attacking areas late in the game, making many overlapping runs but looked a little tired playing his second game in a little over 48 hours.. LB. Arsenal FC. NACHO MONREAL

6.0. Went off in the first half with an injury, If it’s long term, Arsenal have only two fit central midfielders, one of whom is Granit Xhaka. Was poor in possession and seemingly did not react well to the weekend off against Palace. Let’s hope he’s not seriously injured.. MID. Arsenal FC. FRANCIS COQUELIN

Dreadful. Much will be made of his mistake for the penalty – as it should be – but his overall performance was poor nonetheless. Gave the ball away far too often, was beaten many times (even by Nathan Ake at one stage) and was exposed with the pace and intensity of the game in the first half. Did play a nice ball to Giroud for both Lucas Perez’s goal and the Frenchman’s header late on. Still not enough to redeem him, though.. MID. Arsenal FC. GRANIT XHAKA. 4.0

MID. Arsenal FC. ALEX IWOBI. 5.0. Struggled in the first half as he and Aaron Ramsey seemingly swapped positions throughout the first half. Failed to offer any rhythm to Arsenal’s passing and both and he and the Welshman utterly neglected their defensive duties for Bournemouth’s opener.

The majority of this grade is for effort, rather than eventual quality. Sanchez dragged this team out of the pit that they found themselves in through a strength of will. Scored a good goal. made things happen and was rightly frustrated with his teammates in the first half.. MID. Arsenal FC. ALEXIS SANCHEZ. 7.5

5.5. Much improved as the game progressed and resulted in pulling the strings late in the game. However, was so poor in the first half it is difficult to give him anything but an averagre grade. The quicker Wenger realises he is not a winger nor attacking midfielder, and a box-to-box player instead, the better.. MID. Arsenal FC. AARON RAMSEY

OLIVIER GIROUD. 8.0. MAN OF THE MATCH: Giroud was dreadful for an hour in this game. Couldn’t hold onto the play, offer his teammates any relief and looked tired after starting against Palace. Then, as he has done so many times this season, he scored the late equaliser and added two assists, providing the perfect focal point for the Gunners’ attack. Strange.. ST. Arsenal FC

Very quiet day for the Ox. Came on for Coquelin, moving Ramsey deeper on the right wing and struggled to adjust to the pace of the game. Didn’t do much right but also did little wrong, just very quiet.. SUB. Arsenal FC. ALEX OXLADE-CHAMBERLAIN. 6.0

Arsenal FC. GABRIEL PAULISTA. 6.5. Came on and steadied the ship at the back. Provided some much-needed calmness in possession and was able to secure what was seemingly a horrifically open defence. Could well be called upon once again if Koscielny is absent for any period of time.. SUB

LUCAS PEREZ. 7.0. Lovely left-footed volley for the Gunners’ second goal. Provided some directness in attacking areas with his excellent pace. Also, put in a couple of dangerous crosses and certainly invigorated the team. Good cameo and he could be a major contributor in the latter half of the season.. SUB. Arsenal
