Juventus have made an official bid of £25.7 million for Alexis Sanchez per Corriere dello Sport. What an utterly insulting offer for the Arsenal star.
The summer transfer window is very quickly emerging on the horizon and Arsenal have some major decisions to make. Much of the narrative that has run through the season has focused on the futures of three men, three men that are essential to all that the club does.

The most prominent of the three is Arsene Wenger. With his contract set to expire at the end of the season and a growing ambivalence within the fanbase, there has been an increasing feeling that this may be his last season in North London. While that is yet to be determined, whether Wenger chooses to stay or go will have huge ramifications on the summer that awaits for the Gunners.

The other two figures that enter the offseason with uncertain futures are Alexis Sanchez and Mesut Ozil. Both have been spearheads for Arsenal’s recent resurgence and, having delayed talks regarding a new deal on numerous occasions, they now enter the summer with just a year remaining on their contracts and the subject of much attention from across the world.
It is the former that the media circle seemingly suggests is the more likely to leave. He has been visibly frustrated with life at the Emirates, dejected and angry, hunching over late in the devastating loss to Bayern Munich after spending the 90 minutes desperately demanding his teammates to push up with flailing arms and frantic voice.
Now, the Chilean star is being courted by Juventus, a club that have been linked with a possible move for many years. Per Corriere dello Sport, the Italian giants have submitted an official offer of €30 million, equivalent to £25.7 million. If true, that is an utterly insulting amount for a player of Sanchez’s quality and importance.
He is currently the joint top goalscorer in the Premier League, with 17 goals, has scored 20 in all competitions this season for Arsenal, and since making the positional switch into a central striking role rather out wide, has only established as an even more essential member of the first team, integral to many of the attacking moves that the side string together.

Sanchez is a truly phenomenal player and it is likely that he does indeed leave North London this summer. However, a bid of £25.7 million is far below the valuation that Arsenal would have been hoping for. He is worth far more than that and Wenger knows it.
