4. Aaron Ramsey

Aaron Ramsey has only ever had nice things to say about Arsene Wenger when it comes to the manager keeping faith in him. When Ramsey returned from his leg break, he was a wreck on the pitch, but Wenger stuck with him, kept handing him chances, and eventually it panned out pretty well and he proved to be one heck of a talent.

More from Pain in the Arsenal

And then Santi Cazorla filled in for him and all of a sudden, Ramsey was shoe-horned into a wide position, barely ever touching a central midfield role for two full seasons.

Ramsey was very outspoken about his frustrations at being used out wide and his annoyance at not being deployed in his favorite role. He even got caught daydreaming about life at Barcelona, where he’d be able to roam free in the center of the pitch.

Not too long ago, it seemed almost inevitable that the Welshman would move on to find a team that would utilize him properly. And there would be plenty of takers and he would absolutely do well for himself.

But Wenger moving on has the same effect. Ramsey is a talent, don’t try to convince yourself he isn’t. He just needs a system that compliments his abilities and Wenger hasn’t provided that as of late.

At No. 3, let’s stay on topic.
