2. Nacho Monreal

Here’s where I make it interesting. Nacho Monreal, the Spaniard left-back, is my 4th player that needs to be sold. Yes, he is having a great week with a pivotal goal vs Man City and a goal that was deflected off of Huth vs Leicester which gave Arsenal the win, but his performance has been very inconsistent this season.

More from Pain in the Arsenal

However, Monreal is also getting old. He’s 31 years old and it’s hard to say whether he will get any better in his career. Yes, Laurent Koscielny is the same age but Koscielny plays like a 20-year-old with the skills he possesses.

Although we saw Monreal display immense passion when he scored these last two games, he just won’t cut it anymore. Arsenal need a consistent left-back who can provide an attacking threat as well. Monreal has shown that he can come up with the attack, but again, he’s not consistent enough.

Especially with recent rumors suggesting Sead Kolasinac (who can both defend and pose a consistent attacking threat) will be our go-to left-back if he signs, it gives another reason for Monreal to find a new team.

Finally, let’s shake it up at No. 1.
