3. Jean Michael Seri

Revitalizing this attack should be a top priority as well. In a 3-4-3 system that is meant to surrender possession, absorb pressure and strike quickly, this Gunner team doesn’t seem to be doing a lot of the striking quickly. There doesn’t appear to be much, if any, urgency to strike quick and you really don’t have to look more further for answers than who is filling in that front three.

Olivier Giroud is fantastic at what he does, but counter attacking in isolation is absolutely not what he does. Mesut Ozil is also not known for his urgency.

Jean Michael Seri is a fantastic, under-the-radar pick-up that could completely change the attack, or, at the very least, stop the bleeding if Alexis leaves. While Seri is used to playing more central or deep-lying roles, his speed and technical ability make him a perfect candidate to take one of Arsenal’s two central attacking roles.

He scores goals, creates chances and even snuffs out passing lanes rather well, which would be a fantastic asset to have if he could start winning then ball back on the attacking half of the pitch.

While OGC Nice are pushing for an Leicester-like Ligue 1 title, Seri is still not the hottest commodity, as his transfer value is only around £10m.

Supposedly it is only Tottenham, oh lovely Tottenham, that are racing Arsenal for the Ivory Coast midfielder.

Let’s get back to striker at No. 2.
