Hector Bellerin

As is the case with the majority of modern-day full-backs, Hector Bellerin is much better offensively than he is defensively. That is why I think he would be perfect as a right wing-back.

More from Pain in the Arsenal

His stamina, speed, and attacking impetus make him perfect for this role. However, with that said I believe his attacking positioning and crossing could use some work.

There is no else who is even worthy of consideration for this spot in ‘my’ starting XI. Mathieu Debuchy and Carl Jenkinson would be out the door faster in a flash and whilst that would undoubtedly leave me short for cover, the additions of either Ricardo Pereira or Serge Aurier would address this issue.

Hector Bellerin is well on his way to becoming an Arsenal legend. Despite persistent links with Barcelona, Bellerin has remained faithful. His potential is untapped and were he to stay in North London for the foreseeable future, he would only add to his status.
