Arsenal will look to get back to their September form against Everton at Goodison Park. Here is everything you need to know and where to watch.

Arsenal took fantastic September form into Vicarage Road to take on a stingy Watford side and the Gunners came out with a loss and a major question involving their character, or lack thereof. They didn’t look prepared to answer in Serbia against Red Star Belgrade, but a superb team goal initialized by Jack Wilshere changed things and breathed life into the club.

That life needs to carry over into the first team against an Everton side that is underachieving worse than any other team in England. Except maybe West Ham.

Everton loaded up on attacking talent this past summer, landing former Evertonian Wayne Rooney as well as the Icelandic genius Gylfi Sigurdsson. Neither has been able to lift the Toffees from their unfortunate resting place in 15th.

More from Pain in the Arsenal

Through it all, they’ve managed just five goals in eight matches and Ronald Koeman, a boss who looked set to finally capitalize on the wealth of talent that Everton had. You’d have to assume that they are going to break out of it at some point, and that is the fear of Arsenal supporters everywhere.

But, on the Gunners side of things, they have nothing but good news. Alexis Sanchez, Aaron Ramsey and Laurent Koscielny are all going to be back in action and it would be massively surprising to not see all of them in that starting XI.

It’s Ramsey that was missed the most against the Hornets, however, as his ability to drive the ball forward from deeper positions was crucially lacking, with neither Mohamed Elneny nor Granit Xhaka picking up the slack.

And speaking of Xhaka, he is another big question mark, as many believe he should be unquestionably dropped. His effectiveness has fallen drastically since that inspiring opening match against Leicester City.

Jack Wilshere is another name to keep an eye on, as everyone wants him in the starting XI, but the only person that matters, Arsene Wenger, may yet see it as too great a risk. he did, after all, play a full (and massively inspiring) 90 minutes in Serbia just three days prior.

Two teams with much higher aspirations than where they currently sit. Here’s how to watch:
