Arsenal: Sead Kolasinac is pretty much Alexis Sanchez’s dream
By Josh Sippie
Arsenal’s love affair with Sead Kolasinac is only going to blossom more and more. It only made sense that Alexis Sanchez would get on board.
Arsenal won when they signed Sead Kolasinac for free. What did they win? Everything. Because you really can’t find a single thing wrong with this guy. As I’ve said numerous times, even his bad games are good games. As in, he doesn’t have bad games. His “bad games” are just not great games.

There has been resounding praise for the Bosnian. Some people out there exposed their own cynicism by not believing in Kolasinac, but the voices that matter have had nothing but good things to say.
Arsene Wenger called him the strongest player he has ever coached. Jack Wilshere said he would hate to go up against the man and now Alexis Sanchez has gotten in on the praise.
But that was always bound to happen. Every criticism of the team that Alexis has ever had is solved by Kolasinac. Everything he has ever called on the club to beef up was beefed up by the beefy Bosnian.
Alexis wanted hunger. He wanted strength. He wanted desire. Kolasinac has those three things in abundance, not to mention an amazingly underrated amount of tact and superbly soft feet. He’s like a dream to Alexis, and the Chilean has the luxury of playing on the same side as him, which has to provide him so much more joy.
Here is what Alexis had to say about his new team mate, via Arsenal.com:

"“It’s tough [against him in training] because he’s strong and he’s hard to get around!” Alexis told Arsenal Player. “He’s a very experienced player and he’s really strong.“When it matters [in games], he finds me and makes good passes so I can score. He is an intelligent player who can create good goal-scoring opportunities.“He’s already demonstrated his quality. He’s scored goals, provided assists and shown what he can do both in European and league games."
That’s more resounding praise from someone who would know more than most. Alexis has been going up against the best defenders in the world his entire career and, for the most part, he’s been triumphing over them. So if he says that Kolasinac is tough to get around, you can bet on it.
Not just that, but Alexis is not the kind of guy to butter up anyone, let alone at Arsenal, where he has been notoriously critical. Not that we needed any more proof that Kolasinac is one tough dude, it’s just nice to hear from time to time.
