4. Aaron Ramsey

The fact that Aaron Ramsey is ranked as the fourth best Arsenal player this season perhaps tells you more about the squad than it does Ramsey’s form. Now, that is not to take away from Ramsey. He has been one of the more consistent performers this season, barring one disaster at Anfield in August, and is deserving of praise. But he is still not at his best.

What is impressive is that, from central midfield, he has scored three goals and assisted a further three. That is the type of attacking production that a player of his quality should be providing on a consistent basis. And, barring injury, there is no reason to think that he cannot continue at a similar pace.

More recently, Ramsey has begun to establish himself as a more prominent figure at the heart of the midfield, seemingly understanding his role a little better. There is more to come from the Welshman, though. The fact that that is the case, however, is extremely exciting.
