13. Alexis Sanchez

Alexis Sanchez was almost sold on deadline day, as it has become increasingly clear over the past couple years that he was destined for an exit. However, that exit never happened, and the unfortunate Chilean was left to wallow in the class and camaraderie of Arsenal, the club he is learning to loathe.

Perhaps that was an exaggeration, but it’s clear, from this season especially, that Alexis wishes he were elsewhere. He has been losing possession as effectively as he scored goals last year. He lost the ball over 20 times in the past two matches alone.

That’s what like to call unacceptable. He hasn’t been good. The only thing saving him is a game or two where he was pretty influential, but even in those matches, he has only come away with a goal and two assists.

It’s been piss-poor for the Chilean, and he’s putting the club in a predicament of considering benching him due to how wildly ineffective he has been.
