Arsenal are flopping about, desperate for some kind of form, as they travel to take on an in-form Crystal Palace. Here are all the facts and where to watch.

Arsenal’s fortunes are entering into the theater of the absurd. They just aren’t in a good place. They can’t put together any semblance of consistency. Just when you think they’ve turned the corner, they remind you that they have actually not even taken any steps towards turning that corner.

Defense, midfield, attack – there is no zone of influence that they can get a grip on. Even their fullbacks, long-heralded as perhaps the best positions they had, have been meddled with and failed to live up to expectations.

After squeezing out a 3-3 draw against Liverpool, they now have to travel to Selhurst Park, where a once-docile opponent has suddenly found tremendous form, not having lost in over a month. With the potency of Wilfried Zaha and the always-lurking Christian Benteke, Roy Hodgson has unlocked the talent where it always was.

Conveniently, Benteke will be back from his suspension just in time to plague an aerially-and-set-piece-challenged Arsenal defense.

Plus, playing at home is always going to be an advantage.

Arsenal’s team news is what we’ve been getting used to. Our heartbeat in the middle of the pitch, Aaron Ramsey, remains out until the turn of the New Year. Which is earlier than expected, so at least that’s good news.

Nacho Monreal will also be missing, which means that the defense is going to be in a brand new situation as the Spaniard had played every minute this season before getting injured.

Crystal Palace will be unlikely to make any changes. With just a few injuries, none of which have had much of an impact on their superb run of form, the positive direction of the team should be expected to continue.

It should be interesting. So here is how to watch and listen:
