Arsenal will try to rebound after getting bounced in the FA Cup, but it won’t be easy, as Chelsea is next in the Carabao Cup. Here is what you need to know.
Nothing will make an Arsenal supporter look forward to the next game like losing to Nottingham Forest 4-2 in the 3rd round of the FA Cup. The one competition that there is faith that Arsenal can win, seeing as how they win it more than anyone else.
Next up is Chelsea, yet again. After drawing with them 2-2 thanks to a ridiculous flop by Eden Hazard, the Gunners should be plenty confident about the task ahead, even with it being at Stamford Bridge. The two sides fought out a 0-0 draw at Stamford Bridge earlier in the year, another meeting that favored the Gunners throughout and probably should have resulted in three points.
Going into the midweek clash in the Carabao Cup semi-final, the two are in complete opposite situations in terms of who is ready for the competition. Chelsea will only be without new signing Ross Barkley.

Arsenal, however, will be without four definite starters, along with finding Mesut Ozil, Shkodran Mustafi and Granit Xhaka in a doubtful status.

It will force Arsene Wenger to get creative, which is one hell of a predicament, especially with Bournemouth coming up at the window, and rotation undoubtedly needed to prevent further injuries in the Premier League.
This means that Jack Wilshere will be tasked with a major role and Alexis Sanchez, depending on his motivation or status at the club (as in, will he be here?), has a lot to prove.
There are plenty of other questions that are plaguing the Gunners. Not least of all the complete lack of consistency that this club seems to struggle with. There is no telling what this team is capable of. That said, Chelsea is a big team that has not given them many troubles lately. So there is that batch of confidence to bank on.
