Arsenal are seeking their first win of 2018 and it’s against the last team they won against, Crystal Palace. Here is all you need to know.
Arsenal are having a real crap show of things lately, as they have yet to win in 2018. Inside of that failure to win was a highway robbery against Chelsea and two incredibly embarrassing losses, one to Nottingham Forest to get bounced from the FA Cup on and the latest one, against Bournemouth, where capitulation is the only word that comes to mind.
This club is in a pickle, and with Alexis Sanchez‘s move to Manchester United still not sealed up, we may be stuck with another week of Alex Iwobi or Danny Welbeck. Avoiding having to play them again for some time was the primary goal of this whole ordeal.
Still, the Gunners are getting healthier. Their defensive corps is inching back to health and the entire slew of centrebacks may be available to face Palace. The midfield will have plenty of options too, as Aaron Ramsey and Mesut Ozil are both supposed to be healthy.

On Crystal Palace’s side of things, they have gone from not scoring in their first seven matches to crawling out of the gutter and into 12th place. Before facing the Gunners (and losing) back in December, they had not lost since November, and not at home since September.
It was a thrilling match just a few weeks ago when these two teams met, but it may be a different look for the hosts, as their defense will likely be shaken up, forcing Wilfried Zaha to adjust his strategy accordingly.
Palace have a slew of injury problems, most notably the questionable status of Andros Townsend, who also found some joy against the Gunners last time out, as well as Ruben Loftus-Cheek.
