Arsenal: Hector Bellerin finding his best form yet?
By Rory Picton
Hector Bellerin struggled early on this summer and has suffered intense criticism, but is the Arsenal man suddenly in possession of his best form yet?
At the beginning of the season, you wouldn’t hear an Arsenal fan say “wow Hector Bellerin has had a really good night”. The fans were constantly opposed to him playing on the right flank but Arsene Wenger kept him there.
Hector Bellerin’s recent performances against Bournemouth, Crystal Palace and Chelsea have knocked any hopes in a Mathieu Debuchy resurgence back a bit.
Bellerin has scored in two of his last four games, showing fans he has been working on his finishing. As a right back, you need to be adept at offense and defense and Bellerin has seemed to master both.

His goal against Bournemouth was a very well worked goal. Alex Iwobi slid a 30 yard through ball for Bellerin to latch onto and then he proceeded to slot it past Asmir Begovic. Against Chelsea, he scored a thumper in the dying minutes to salvage a draw for the red and white.
New found form
With this new found form, does this mean that Bellerin should feature in every game in the new year? Well, for starters, Hector Bellerin is the only Arsenal player to feature in every minute this campaign, which seems to indicate that he is trusted by manager Arsene Wenger.
Le Prof has shown some faith in young Hector Bellerin, never deviating from the young Spaniard in the hopes that he will find his form. That tactic has seemed to work out as Bellerin is in some really scintillating form.

This form could reignite Barcelona’s interest in the full-back. They did show a lot of interest in Bellerin this past summer but ultimately bought Nelson Semedo of SL Benfica. If Barcelona is to lose Aleix Vidal, they could seriously come after Bellerin yet again.
Hector Bellerin was, of course, a Barcelona Academy player for much of his youth before being picked up by Arsene Wenger in 2011. He signed his first professional contract in 2013 with the Gunners.
From then on he found himself at the No. 1 rightback spot in no time. Mathieu Debuchy was bought to replace the departing Bacary Sagna, but injuries stifled him and gave the Spaniard the only window he needed. After seeing Bellerin’s performance in the Champions League against Borussia Dortmund, Wenger decided that he would be the guy and as for Debuchy, well, tough luck.
