Arsenal close out a hectic January transfer window with a trip to Swansea. Here is all you need to know and how to watch the match.
Arsenal’s hot and cold January has seen them drop some crucial points, move onto the Carabao Cup Final, make some delicious transfers and, ideally, close out the month in style, with three points against bottom-of-the-table Swansea City.
However, this is the same Swansea that beat Liverpool 1-0 at this very grounds, so nothing can be taken for granted. That said, they would be prime for a let-down after such a shocking victory over the club that had just ended Manchester City’s unbeaten season.
The Gunners have spent January loading up on fresh hope. Some of that fresh hope will likely be on display against Swansea City, with Henrikh Mkhitaryan with the squad and ready to play after being to shunned at Manchester United.

While Arsene Wenger was less than certain about his plans with the Armenian, he did indicated that he would be with the squad which should, I wish I could use a definite like ‘will’, lead to him starting the game alongside Mesut Ozil and behind Alexandre Lacazette, creating a supply chain that is equal parts reliable and dominant.

How the Gunners shape up is always a question worth delving into. Wenger has been keen on the back four against top tier teams, but against Swansea, the club may revert to a back three to try to streamline the attacking flow a bit, while also relying on Swansea’s inability to counter and produce much of a threat of their own.
In terms of team news, the Arsenal injury list has been shredded. Only Danny Welbeck and Olivier Giroud figure to be missing. Both because of injury, although Giroud could also be on his way out of the door in heartbreaking fashion.
Swansea will be without Renato Sanchez and Angel Rangel is a doubt.
There is still so much to do this January for the Gunners, but three points takes priority. Here are all the ways (or lack of ways) to watch:
