Arsenal have done a number on Borussia Dortmund, nabbing their chief scout and their star man, but could we possibly add on one more for the road?

Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang‘s arrival at Arsenal has many Borussia Dortmund players speaking out about the character of of their former team mate. Wonderkid Christian Pulisic has offered his two-cents, telling ESPN.com:

"What I think you guys really don’t know is just how nice of a character he is and how much he cares and how hard he works. I mean, he brought me along so much as a player and helped me and guided me, and he’s been such a great guy."

That’s appreciated and all, we love to hear that our new signing is an upstanding guy, but more importantly, if you liked him that much, would you ever consider joining him once more and making this dynamic duo a dynamic trio?

Pulisic did the usual thin when asked about a potential move to England. He played it coy while inevitably gushing over the quality of the league. In the same interview, he said:

"Of course, the Premier League is an unbelievable league. You never know in football what can happen, so right now, I’m focused with Dortmund, and yeah, that’s that.More from Pain in the Arsenal3 standout players from 1-0 victory over Everton3 positives & negatives from Goodison Park victoryArsenal vs PSV preview: Prediction, team news & lineups3 talking points from Arsenal’s victory at Goodison ParkMikel Arteta provides Gabriel Martinelli injury update after Everton win"

Like I said, the usual, “nothing to see here” stuff. But as someone who has torturedly (that’s a word now) followed transfer rumors for the past decade or so, I know a wishy-washy statement when I see one. The whole “you never know what can happen” is a token indicator that, well, anything can happen.

So naturally, being a ravenous vulture, I want to know if that means he could come to Arsenal, essentially requiring the Gunners to bust out a yellow and black third kit for next season.

Obviously, being a proud American and all, there are few players on the world stage that I view more highly (completely unbiased, of course) as Christian Pulisic and no one I would rather see come to the Emirates (again, completely unbiased). He is a true winger with surprising pace and he has yet to even reach the legal drinking age in his home country.

Yet he has already put up some impressive numbers en route to becoming a bonafide starter on a perennial European contender.

My question, though, is simply this: is there a such thing as too much of another club at your club? Would adding Pulisic make Arsenal too Dortmundy? My initial inclination is no. We don’t (often) call Liverpool too Southamptony. But then again, this is Arsenal, they are held to a different standard. So maybe it would be dubbed “too much” Dortmund.

Then again, should we really care? That’s the more important question. No we should not. He is one of the best young players in the world, so go after him like the Mongols went after the world. No one is judging. No one that matters, anyway. Garth Crooks would probably judge.
