4. Alexandre Lacazette
I like Alexandre Lacazette. He is an excellent player with sharp movement, accurate finishing, and a goal-scoring knack that is proven over a number of years, domestically and on the European stage. But he is very similar to Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, the clear starter at the lone centre-forward position.
I believe that the squad would be better served by introducing a striker who offers a viable and varied threat to that of Aubameyang, rather than another striker built out of the same material. That is not to say that Lacazette is a clone of Aubameyang. That is not to say that he is not useful. That is not to say that he is not a good player.
But in the sporting world of fine margins, this is a place that Arsenal could really make strides forward. It is not inconceivable that they could sell Lacazette for north of £30 million. A very good and different centre-forward could be bought for that price.
