Arsenal: Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang ‘disappointment’ fake news
By Josh Sippie
Arsenal’s newest cannon, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, is apparently ‘disappointed’ by his team mates, which is just as stupid as it sounds.
Arsenal are not in the finest fettle, and no one is trying to hide that. But they still have a fighting chance of squeezing out the Europa League title and eeking back into the Champions League. And all of this was known to Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang when he came to the Gunners.
I try to avoid click-baity bullcrap. But when you put quotation marks in a title, you pique my interest enough that I should check it out. So, when I saw a headline that Aubameyang was ‘disappointed’ by his team mates, I clicked.
And, lo and behold, it was bait. It was a quote from Guillem Balague and his alter ego, Guillem-Emerick Balagueyang. At no point did Arsenal’s Aubameyang actually say he was disappointed in any thing.

Why would it be that Aubameyang didn’t say anything of the sort? Quite simply, because there is no possible way he can be disappointed. It’s a dumb concept and I don’t know how you can get away with suggesting that he is such.
Think about it. Aubameyang had fun at Dortmund, but he joined a team with Mesut Ozil, Aaron Ramsey and his new best friend, Alexandre Lacazette, all of whom are better than what Dortmund has to offer.

Not just that, but he is finding tremendous individual success at the club, and it’s only three months into his tenure here. If he is going to be disappointed, that’s fair, but three months in? That isn’t going to happen.
According to Balagueyang, he is ‘hearing’ that Aubameyang is disappointed by the overall spirits of the squad. Which is such a cop-out claim. If ever there was a time for the spirits to be higher, it would be now. you can see as much in the likes of Granit Xhaka, Mesut Ozil and Alexandre Lacazette and the fire they have on the pitch.
That is the spirit he is disappointed in.
I don’t like when ‘experts’ speak for players. It’s tacky and if you don’t actually have any evidence, why should we believe you? If you want to read body language, that’s fine, do it. But Aubameyang has looked thrilled with all smiles since he arrived at his new digs.

But Balagueyang disagrees. He is disappointed in the spirit at Arsenal, which must mean that Aubameyang is too. I call fake news.
