1. What’s an away point again?

Just to repeat the statistics of Arsenal’s horrific away form, because I know how sadistic you all are, seeing as you choose to support this godforsaken team.

They have lost seven straight in the Premier League. They are the only team in the professional English game to not record a point away from home in 2018. They have amassed just 13 points away from home all season, the same amount as relegated West Bromwich Albion.

The worst part about all this is that Arsene Wenger has stated on several occasions that he does not know why there is such a disparity between his team’s home and away form. He recognises the problem, which is a start, but he does not, publicly at least, offer an explanation as to why and suggest any changes that need to be made to improve the situation.

Thankfully, this is now an issue for the new manager. Wenger need not worry about it anymore. But that does not mean that it is not a significant problem. Arsenal’s away form is extremely concerning. It cannot be the same if they harbour top-four or even title hopes next season.
