Newcastle United vs Arsenal life stream: Watch Premier League online
By Josh Sippie
Arsenal look to return to stay in the win column as they travel to St. James to face Newcastle United. Here are all the ways to follow the action.
I’ve said this in just about every pre-match article, but St. James Park is not an easy place to play. Least of all for Arsenal, who are notoriously bad on the road, St. James or not. But that is where the match will take place, and the Gunners will just have to get over it or lose points.
As it stands, Newcastle United are in an early relegation battle, as they sit third from the bottom of the table without a win to show for the season just yet. However, even without a win, they have given up less goals than the Gunners (six, compared to eight).
They have also only scored three goals, however. But going up against a porous defense like the one they will be hosting has a way of making any attack look better than it is.
Consider, for instance, that the Gunners have up two goals to Cardiff City, who hadn’t scored a goal until the red and white came to town.

As far as team news is concerned, Unai Emery won’t be too limited in his team selection, Lucas Torreira’s injury proved to be nothing serious, and will be available. Other than that and the ongoing long-term injuries, there is nothing to speak of, barring another Mesut Ozil mystery illness, which could spring up at any moment.
Newcastle will be without Lejeune and Manquillo, and their dynamic midfielders Jonjo Shelvey and Matt Ritchie are also question marks. Needless to say, the Gunners would rather see Shelvey and Ritchie unable to take the pitch, to make this whole thing a tiny bit easier.
First it was West Ham, then Cardiff, adding Newcastle and making it three wins in a row would be something pretty awesome, and it would ideally see this club into the better part of the table where they can start cobbling together some confidence.
