Arsenal have put up three wins in a row, two of which being away wins, and yes, that is cause to be excited. We are level on points with Tottenham and Manchester United, which is also cause to be excited.

But we shift our attention now to the Europa League. This may sound like a cop-out, but I’m actually kind of glad that we’re in the secondary of European competitions, because, while expectations are undoubtedly higher to make if deeper into the competition, it allows Unai Emery less pressure to deliver immediate results in the prestigious Champions League.

Not to mention it allows him to utilize all those other players that he hasn’t gotten around to using too much of lately.

That is the most exciting part. So many players that we’ve wanted to see getting a go at the starting XI in the Premier League will be given their chance at last. It’s in a game that the Gunners will be expected to win handily, but the reinforcements that will be coming in for this match should be more than capable of delivering on that.

Let’s talk about the five guys we are most excited to see. Starting with No. 5.

5. Alex Iwobi

The man! I have to say that through those first three or so matches, I counted Alex Iwobi as our most competent attacker, even with the super-stardom surrounding him at the position. His goal was well taken, he was not responsible for any eye-rolling moments.

He was just good. It looked like he had improved, and, as I always say, once players start improving, we can’t ask for more.

Iwobi is going to want to grasp this opportunity with both hands and I can’t wait to see how he handles it. He won’t have to worry about anyone breathing down his neck because he figures to be one of the centerpieces of these side competitions.

On to No. 4.
