3. Henrikh Mkhitaryan

Henrikh Mkhitaryan was the one that gave way in favor of Alexandre Lacazette, who should have been starting from the off anyway. It was a questionable decision, given the lack of consistency from literally everyone else in the attack, bar maybe Aaron Ramsey, but alas, it is what it is, and now Mkhitaryan is on the outside looking in.

While he has found consistent substitute duties, and is still tied for the team lead in goal contributions, he will undoubtedly be intent on forcing his way back into the Premier League starting XI.

Hence why his performance is going to be so important. I assume that Mkhitaryan will start because he needs minutes, and I assume he will then play well because he is a talented player who just needs confidence.

This is the perfect opportunity for him to find some confidence out there on the pitch and assert himself back into the first-choice picture. It’s going to be a revolving door up front if he can get back on top, and that is the perfect outcome.

No. 2 is next.
