Arsenal vs Brentford live stream: Watch League Cup online
By Josh Sippie
Arsenal continue their midweek extravaganza’s, this time moving into the League Cup against Brentford. Here is all you need to know and how to watch.
Arsenal have won five games on the fly, and they have been a diverse array of wins. Some were deceptively sneaky, some were undeserved, some were comprehensive wins that the scoreline didn’t give credit to.
But in the end, those initial two losses to Manchester City and Chelsea are fading away, slowly but surely. In the meantime, the Gunners will be looking (and hopefully expecting) to make it six in a row following a romping win against Brentford in the League Cup, third round.
The midweek fixtures have only just picked up, so it’s still within Unai Emery’s wheelhouse to experiment, but he did come out and say that he is going to give youth a chance to express themselves in the League Cup.
Meaning that it would not be unreasonable to expect to see the likes of Nketiah, Smith Rowe, more of Guendouzi and maybe even the illusive Mavropanos, who I’m still not sure where exactly he is, nor is anyone, apparently.

Regardless, the Gunners will still hope to make this a comprehensive win, youth or no, and given the youth that they have available, it shouldn’t be too big of an ask. Nketiah is more than capable of serving as the Aubameyang role and with the likes of Elneny and Guendouzi out there, patrolling the midfield, the base is there to be confident.
The Gunners injuries leave little wiggle room on the defensive side of things, with five defenders currently on the physically unable list.
On the Brentford side of things, they are in some decent form of their own, suffering just one loss in their last six. They sit a comfy seventh in the EFL Championship table and will be looking to build some momentum as the clear underdogs in this one.
Should be a fun one, no matter who Emery sends out there, so here’s how to watch:
