4. Aaron Ramsey

On one hand, it really isn’t fair that Aaron Ramsey is being shoved to the side in the wake of his ongoing contract drama. From what Ramsey says, none of this is his fault. The club seems determined to part ways with him and nothing the Welshman can do can change this. Or at least, that’s how it seems.

On the other hand, Ramsey hasn’t done that much to stake a claim to a starting role. He had his impact early on, and was a bright spot in ways, but Unai Emery isn’t here to do anyone any favors, and Ramsey lost out.

Still, that doesn’t mean that hard work and a Ramsey resurgence will go unnoticed. It may “only be Blackpool” but a stalwart showing from the Welshman could go a long way, mainly because we really haven’t seen him at his best in quite some time.

Until something changes, and there’s no guarantee that it will, this may be the best that Ramsey has to look forward to all year. So best make the most of it.
